Seems like a lot of weight for that F250. Guy also thinks he will be delivering it tomorrow in Hickory, NC, I’m near Corpus Christi. I feel that’s a bit ambitious.
Either way I should have my Porsche next week!

That F-250
is
overl
oaded. I see about 8 tons there, or 16,000 lbs. Which in itself shouldn’t be a problem depending on the F-250's engine, but there’s way too much tongue weight on there to have that carolina lean.

Yeah, isn’t fifth wheel king pin tongue weight not supposed to exceed payload? Because it sure looks like it does.

Raptor to a Porsche ... should be interesting.

If you look at my vehicle history I once owned a V10 TDI Touareg AND Triumph Spitfire. Should have got out most of my reliability JuJu in those two. Unless you are talking about running cost then let me point you to my wife’s third MINI. But you know we aren’t part of Oppo because we make good vehicular decisions.

6.7 Powerstroke, engine wasn’t my immediate concern.

It’s hard to tell from the low res photo, but it looks like that 5th wheel is sitting on the bumper area, not in the bed where it should. Very strange.

It’s a true 5th wheel in the bed.

Trailer is a home built special. The trailer should have one truck over the tires. The rest should only exist as extra tongue length.I hope the welds hold. Scary. The truck looks normal for a heavy 5 th wheel camper hookup.
I would like the Porsche but I’d miss the back roads to much to part with a truck.

Yeah he had room to move the front truck up figured he was going to do that or swap trucks. Maybe once he stops he will adjust. Either way I checked the liability of the paper I signed when handing the truck over, “silverback transport” assumes all responsibility.
97 % of the time I’ll be having more fun in the Porsche. Raptor was fun though.

So, looking at your post regarding the GTS it reads as if that is being shipped down to you after the Raptor is received. Am I reading that right?
Because if I am, then I hope he’s not delivering your other car on the return trip.

That is how it reads but it seems like the dealership uses a broker to setup the shipping. The Raptor was especially difficult to get picked up because of the width. I am hoping the return trip will have more options on the transporter. I will definitely be discussing this with the dealership come Monday after what was witnessed with this transport.
